Well here is Luke doing his latest new trick...holding up his head! Actually it is more like lifting up his head. Last night Mike was laying down by him, when Luke decided to show off. We were all thrilled and cheering for him so of course he got the biggest grin. Lynsey said, "Mom, you need to make sure and put this on the web site." Is she a proud sister or what? He has also become quite the pro at arm wrestling; he is strong too! I knew 2008 was going to be great...so far so good! Thanks so much for the prayers...they are working. So please continue to pray for continued restoration of brain function in Luke. If He can calm a storm, walk on water, make a blind man see, surely He can restore our precious Lukey! Believe! This is from a book I am reading; I think it is so true..."We must continue to pray and "wait for the Lord" (Isa. 8:17), until we hear the sound of His mighty rain. There is no reason why we should not ask for great things. Without a doubt, we will receive them if we ask in faith, having the courage to wait with patient perseverance for Him, and meanwhile doing those things that are within our power to do."

I'm thrilled to see Luke's progress! I'm elated and feel 2008 will be a wonderful year for Luke! I pray each day for signs of his continued recovery and this picture is proof! Way to go Lukey!
