Turkey Hunting Therapy!

Last week Luke "ditched" his regular therapies on Thursday and Friday for some turkey hunting therapy with Mike, Pap, and cousin Tyler. The word is...he had a blast!!! He loves being outdoors with the guys and not stuck at home with mom, that is very apparent this morning. He is not happy to be here! It doesn't help that he is "ditching" his therapies again this morning as both sisters have a nasty stomach bug. Pray Luke does not get it! This Friday I have a meeting with the school to get everything set for next year. Pray all goes well. Thanks for continuing to follow Luke's journey!

What's In a Name?

Many of you have asked me where the name Gladiator comes from...here you go. When Luke first got hurt he was transported by Air-E-Vac to Maricopa Medical Center. When he arrived his condition was extremely critical. His lungs and heart were failing. By God's grace, he survived all of that. One of the night nurses, Terry, who was one of our very favorites at the "Copa," as they call it, told Mike and I one night that Luke is a real gladiator to have survived what he did. The name stuck! We believe because of the gladiator in him, he will pull through this and do everything little boys are meant to do! Believe...you are part of this miracle, just by praying for Luke.
