What's In a Name?

Many of you have asked me where the name Gladiator comes from...here you go. When Luke first got hurt he was transported by Air-E-Vac to Maricopa Medical Center. When he arrived his condition was extremely critical. His lungs and heart were failing. By God's grace, he survived all of that. One of the night nurses, Terry, who was one of our very favorites at the "Copa," as they call it, told Mike and I one night that Luke is a real gladiator to have survived what he did. The name stuck! We believe because of the gladiator in him, he will pull through this and do everything little boys are meant to do! Believe...you are part of this miracle, just by praying for Luke.

Happy 12th Birthday Luke!!

Twelve years ago we were blessed with a baby boy!! Little did I know then that this kid would teach me so much more than I could ever teach him. Happy Birthday to the strongest, bravest, and dare I say, most stubborn boy I know. We love you buddy!!
